In the solo work AN ACT, inspired by both auto- and body-biography, Neil Höhener explores his own identity and physicality, along with their fluidity. Engaging in a dialogue with various aspects of his personality, Neil seeks constant transformation. In a distant, partly surreal and dreamlike stage setting, he delves into feelings of obsession, revealing vulnerability and playfulness. His actions lead to a performative deconstruction of established categories. AN ACT is a dance-driven search for the indefinable.
